The device measures the following pollutants:
3 different sizes of fine particles - PM0.3; PM2.5 and PM10 - solid or liquid particles in the air - dust, soot, aerosols, candles and other combustion processes. Fine particles are particularly insidious - they are so small that they penetrate deep into our lungs. They can come from outside air as well as, for example, from heating appliances or cooking. With prolonged exposure, they increase the risk of heart and lung diseases. The smaller the particle, the greater the risk.
CO2 - carbon dioxide - rises quickly in a room when there is poor ventilation or a large number of people. High levels of CO2 cause decreased concentration and fatigue.
HCHO - formaldehyde - a very toxic cancer-causing chemical that can be found in furniture, textiles, building materials, cleaning products...
CO - carbon monoxide or carbon monoxide - faulty gas stoves, boilers, fireplaces, solid fuel stoves, cookers. Also petrol engines. Poor ventilation also produces more CO
TVOC - volatile organic compounds - gaseous substances that come from: varnishes, paints, furniture, cleaning products, acetone, toluene, benzene, etc.
A summary air quality index that takes all indicators into account.
The device also measures temperature and humidity.
